Sonic Anchor #46: LIVE-___ING is durational. Part of it is to demystify the process of developing a live performance, as each artist bring their own “process” to the space. On the other hand, the questions are given to those watching - What exactly does these processes entail and contribute to? How much of the “result” are we actually able to perceive when the piece of work is complete?

These artists will each complete a task over the course of 3 hours, at their own pace in their assigned time slot. Witnesses are welcome to enter and exit the studio as the artists progress. The task leads to some kind of “result” justifying the process, in the form of a short jam, to close the evening. These processes will be intervened on the stage of McAulay studio spatially, sonically and visually.
