As the closing performance of Around Sound Art Festival 2015, Contemporary Musiking Hong Kong joins forces with soundpocket to present a new generation of sound experimentalists in one extravaganza.
New York based artist, composer and percussionist Eli Keszler will blend sounds at the intersection of architecture, performance, installation, notation and composition. Veteran sound experimentalist Dennis Wong, a.k.a. Sin:Ned, is an improviser, experimentalist and noise practitioner from Hong Kong. With Dennis' blasts of synthesized sound and Eli's fluid, complex drumming—both in solo sets, Around Sound Art Festival 2015 is set to expand the definition of sound art performance at Sonic Anchor #25.
Berlin-based guitarist Eric Wong will unleash the energy of improvisation with a bunch of guitar effects pedals. Building upon a series of arpeggiated progression, his second piece "Granulated Harmonies" will apply analog and digital delays to turn granulated sounds and tempered notes into captivating drones.
