We are thrilled to congratulate @larry.shuen on being selected for our exchange residency program at @instrumentinventors in The Hague, Netherlands! Larry will be visiting the iii workshop in late May for a two week residency. We look forward to hearing about his development of artistic practice and cultural exchange with the international artist community in July.

恭喜孫禮賢獲選為iii 藝術家駐留計畫 - 聲音傳輸2024的藝術家，接下來他將於5月期間到訪荷蘭海牙的iii 作兩星期的藝術家駐留，期待他在七月分享駐留期間發展的想法，與國際藝術家們進行文化交流的經驗。

Larry Shuen is a Hong Kong composer, sound artist, and media artist. Heavily inspired by classical music and composition training, Shuen’s works are often derived from music, sounds, and listening. *Deer Enclosure* and *Every Small Sky* are Shuen’s retrospective works that address his memories with The Greeners’s Sound, a choral society Shuen dedicated years to. Shuen’s performance work *Goin’ Goin’*, a collaboration with artist Nga Yan Cheng, explores a superimposed relationship between field recordings, virtual navigation, and an exercising body. Shuen also engages closely with various choreographers and dancers as a sound designer and interactive media designer, inspiring him to explore the potential of musicians’ gestures as a creative resource recently. By seeing music and sound as a point of departure, Shuen expands his artistic practice to encompass interactive programming, video essays, sound art, installations, performances, and media art, through which Shuen expresses his reflective thoughts on life and surroundings.

孫禮賢從事音樂、作曲、聲音和媒體藝術創作，創作範疇涵蓋互動編程、錄像散文、聲音藝術、裝置、表演和媒體藝術，藉此探討對自身及其環境的所思所感。近期創作包括與藝術家鄭雅茵的演出《走走》和一系列以樂手動作為題的作品。
